DR. Vickers-Sanchez BIO:
Dr. Vickers-Sanchez is a licensed psychologist and clinical neuropsychologist who specializes in forensic, psychological, and neuropsychological evaluation of children, adolescents and adults with psychiatric conditions, sustained brain damage or other nervous system impairments. She has over 15 years of clinical experience specializing in child, adolescent and adult conditions with particular focus in assessment of traumatic brain injury and neurodevelopmental disorders and their associated learning, attentional and behavioral difficulties. She assesses individuals in a variety of clinical, medical, and forensic settings including the civil, workers’ compensation and criminal arenas.
Dr. Vickers-Sanchez earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno (APA accredited program) with concentrations in Neuropsychology, Cross Cultural, and Child Clinical Psychology. She also completed two years of advanced postdoctoral training in Pediatric and Adult Clinical Neuropsychology through Fielding Institute in Chicago.
She has maintained a private practice in Fresno since 2005, where she has provided assessment services to individuals of all ages. She has been a QME also since 2005, and a large part of her practice is performing QME and diagnostic evaluations of individuals with psychiatric/neuropsychiatric conditions, attention or concentration problems, memory difficulties, executive dysfunction, and learning disabilities.
Dr. Vickers-Sanchez remains active in her profession through participation in professional organizations, clinical training, and mentoring. Her memberships include National Academy of Neuropsychology, International Neuropsychology Society, National Register of Health Service Providers, American Psychological Association, and American College of Forensic Examiners.
