BIO
Dinesh Sharma, MD, QME, received both his Bachelor of Arts degree and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University. He completed a residency in physical medicine & rehabilitation at the UCLA Wadsworth VA Medical Center, Cedars-Sinai, where he was chief resident in his final year. Dr. Sharma received the Regents Alumni Scholarship Award as an undergraduate and the recommendation for Clinical Honors in Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology in medical school. He has also been nominated for Outstanding Physician of the Year by the nursing staff at Kaweah Delta District Hospital.
Dr. Sharma has been running a private practice in Visalia since 1989. He has been doing QMEs since 1994 and IMEs since 1996, and he is an expert reviewer for the Medical Board of California. His memberships include American Medical Association, California Medical Association, California Society of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and American Academy of Neurophysiology. He is a Fellow with the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians and a Diplomate with the National Board of Medical Examiners as well as the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
