Gerald Weingarten, MD, QME, is a licensed Cardiologist and Internal Medicine Physician who is available for PQMEs, AMEs or Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) at several locations throughout California.

BIO

Gerald Weingarten, MD, QME, received a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine and cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and an additional residency in internal medicine at the Wadsworth VA/UCLA Hospital.



Dr. Weingarten has been in private practice in the San Fernando Valley since 1977, and is currently affiliated with Providence Tarzana Medical Center and the Jewish Home for the Aging. He was previously the president of Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity with the San Fernando Valley Graduate Club and Chief of Medicine at both Sherman Oaks Hospital and the Jewish Home for the Aging.



Dr. Weingarten has been involved with medical-legal work performing AMEs, QMEs and IMEs for over 30 years. He is a medical expert for the Social Security Administration Disability Adjudication and Review office. He is also a Diplomate with American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of American College of Physicians and the American Society of Internal Medicine.
