BIO
Maged W. Botros, MD, QME, is board-certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He studied medicine at El Minya University in Egypt and went on to earn his Medical degree at Cairo University, where he graduated with Honors. He did his Internship also at Cairo University, then moved to the United States to complete his Fellowship at University of California, Irvine. Dr. Botros went back to Cairo University for Post-Graduate training, then returned to the United States to complete his Residency in Psychiatry at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. His Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry was done at Kern and Harbor UCLA Medical Center.
Dr. Botros currently practices Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health Juvenile Justice Program, Phoenix House of Los Angeles, and The Holman Group. He is a member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and is licensed in the State of California.
