BIO
Ausaf A. Bari, MD, QME, received a Bachelor of Arts in molecular cell biology from the University of California, Berkeley. He received a Master of Arts, a Doctor of Philosophy, and a Doctor of Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Bari completed and internship and residency at University of California and a fellowship in functional neurosurgery at University of Toronto, Toronto Western Hospital.
Dr. Bari is the director of functional and restorative neurosurgery at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he is also an assistant professor. Dr. Bari has received many awards and honors for his work in neurosurgery and has written numerous publications to his credit. Dr. Bari is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the North American Neurological Society, and the American Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery. Dr. Bari is fluent in English, Hindi, and Urdo.
