BIO
Boban Joseph, MD, QME received his medical degree at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research University of Madras in India. He completed an internship and surgery residency at JIPMER Hospital of the University of Madras and the University of Western Ontario. After moving to the United States, he did a surgery internship at Harbor Hospital and a ophthalmology fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine/Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute. Dr. Joseph completed a residency in ophthalmology at UCLA and a fellowship in vitreo-retinal diseases and surgery at University of Southern California.
Dr. Joseph has been in private practice at Vitreo-Retinal Associates Medical Group in Pasadena and Pomona since 1983. He is a Fellow with Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Canada, American Academy of Ophthalmology, American College of Surgeons, and Royal Society of Medicine of Great Britain. He is also a member of the Pan American Association of Ophthalmology.
