Dr. Furuta graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine in 2005. She is a board certified Psychiatrist and has successfully passed the QME competency exam and met QME educational requirements. She is an outstanding practitioner and has several honors and awards, including, the Opencare 2016 Patient’s Choice Winner, the 2015 Southern California Psychiatric Society President’s Award and the SUPERDOCTORS® Southern California Rising Stars 2014 and 2015.
Dr. Furuta is also is available for Psychiatric Independent Medical Examinations (IME) and Fitness for Duty Evaluations (FFDE) at her locations in Torrance, San Pedro, Manhattan Beach, Marina Del Rey and Long Beach.
