Arsalan Malik, MD, QME, is a licensed Psychiatrist who is available for PQMEs, AMEs or Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) at several locations throughout California.
BIO
Arsalan Malik, MD, QME, received his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Pakistan. He went on to an internship at State University of New York and a residency in psychiatry at Menninger Clinic at Baylor College of Medicine. He served as chief resident of the Menninger Clinic during his residency, where he specialized in addressing the complex medical, psychiatric and substance use difficulties of high-achieving individuals no longer functioning successfully in the workplace and/or at home. He completed a fellowship in psychodynamic psychotherapy at Center for Psychoanalytic Studies.
Dr. Malik scored in the 99th percentile on all psychiatry resident in training (PRITE) exams from PGY-1 to PGY-4. He is currently a clinical instructor at UCLA Department of Psychiatry and a clinical associate at New Center for Psychoanalysis. He is also a staff psychiatrist at Behavioral Health Oxnard Adult Clinic, a consulting psychiatrist at Arroyos Psychological Association, and has a private practice in Santa Monica.
