BIO
Purab Viswanath, MD, QME, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Northwestern University, and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Ohio State University. Dr. Viswanath completed an internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at UPMC Hamot Medical Center and a fellowship in hand and upper extremities at the Florida Orthopedic Institute.
Dr. Viswanath is currently an orthopedic surgeon with Providence Center for Orthopedic Specialists. He has authored many scientific journal articles and spoken at several orthopedic conferences at the local and national level. Dr. Viswanath is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.
