Samer Alnajjar, MD, QME, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at LA Orthopedic Specialists in Downtown Los Angeles, California. He specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgeries and offers plastic surgery consultations at his office.
Dr. Alnajjar earned his Bachelor of Arts in psychology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a Master of Public Health and Administration at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, before traveling to Grenada to earn his medical degree at St. George University Medical School.
Dr. Alnajjar returned to Wayne State University for his general surgery residency and went on to complete two fellowships. The first fellowship was with the Department of Orthopedics/Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. His second fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute through the New York State University at Buffalo earned him a certification in plastic and reconstructive surgery and head and neck reconstruction.
Board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Alnajjar also holds a certificate of added qualification in hand surgery. He is a fellow of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and a member of the American College of Surgeons through his board certification in general surgery.
