BIO
Dr. Sanagaram Shantharam, MD, QME, brings forth a substantial and remarkable background encompassing extensive training and experience. He received a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Bangalore University. He was the Senior House Officer Intern for Orthopedic Surgery at St. John’s Hospital, India, at Cork Regional Hospital, Ireland, and at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Ireland. He completed two more internships at Brookdale Hospital, and at Booth Memorial Medical Center, both in New York. Dr. Shantharam completed residency in orthopedic surgery and a fellowship in hand surgery at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and followed by a residency in orthopedic surgery at University of New Mexico.
Dr. Shantharam currently runs a private practice in orthopedic surgery. He was formerly an assistant clinical professor at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Shantharam possesses a commendable record of numerous published works and actively pursues continuing education opportunities to stay at the forefront of advancements in the field of orthopedic surgery.
