Steven Barnett, MD, QME, is a licensed Psychiatrist who is available for PQMEs, AMEs or Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) at several locations throughout California.
BIO
Steven Barnett MD, QME, is board-certified in both Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. He received his bachelors degree from University of California, Santa Barbara, where he graduated with High Honors, and went on to attend medical school as a Regent’s Scholar at University of California, Los Angeles. His internship, residency and fellowship were all completed at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles.
Dr. Barnett currently practices at Cottage Hospital, where he provides services in the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, the Cottage Residential Center Program, and the Emergency Department. He is the Medical Director of the Santa Barbara COPE intensive outpatient program. As a volunteer faculty member of USC-Keck School of Medicine, he also teaches and supervises medical students attending psychiatric training rotations at Cottage.
